Â Once you understand what Vince is explaining then things make a lot more sense when it comes to many people’s experience with certain brew methods apparently performing better when “underextracting”. Â Many, correctly, ignored what the meter was telling them and dialled in by taste – which turns out to have been inline all along. Â If this didn’t make sense, it will after this talk:
